First of all let me write that Frank and I just celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary on May 31. We didn't really do anything romantically special, but we did spend the day with the kids, lounging around and having great family time. The best gift he could give me is to let me catch up on rest and take care of the kids. Which is exactly what Frank did. Although I may grumble about him, I love Frank so very much.
Now on to my surprise. Well a couple of weeks ago I had blood work done, which came back saying that I'm pregnant. Surprise enough right? The girl at Dr Jochim's office said I was about 4 weeks pregnant. Which would put me about 6 weeks pregnant today.
I went to the doctor today for an exam and he told me I'm a little more than 6 weeks pregnant.....I am 19 weeks, 2 days pregnant!!! Also I found out I'm having a girl. My due date is Oct 25, not Jan 27 like I was thinking.
My last period was in Jan. I took a pregnancy test which was faintly positive, but not really enough to say for sure. I took another test a few weeks later and that one showed negative. So I thought I wasn't pregnant, but just thought my period was being irregular like in the past. I kept thinking of calling the dr's office, but kept putting it off. I didn't feel pregnant, but I realize now that I kind of thought I was pregnant. I even had a dream that my baby is a girl. So when Dr Jochim asked if I wanted to know what I'm having I already knew he'd tell me a girl.
It hasn't been until the past 3 weeks that I've started feeling pregnant. I've had morning sickness, my breasts are tender, I'm extremely tired, and my clothes are fitting snug. I know at 6 wks pregnant my clothes shouldn't be so snug, but I figured with 5 kids and this being my 9th pregnancy I probably am showing alot sooner.
He said everything is looking good, but now I'm worried of course since I had no idea I was this far along.
I called Frank to let him know. He's shocked of course. He was just getting used to the idea of me being pregnant. This really threw him for a loop...big time...LOL.
We had been planning on hiking the Grand Canyon this October, but it doesn't look like I'm going now.
I haven't told the kids yet and don't know when to tell them. I'm not sure how they are going to feel about it. About a month ago Rachel mentioned no more babies....well SURPRISE!!!

Starting Over
Well so much for staying up to date with my blog. Life got so busy with my new job and H&R Block, delivering newspapers, dealing with kids and finding time to spend with Frank. It got so crazy that I found myself just finding time to catch up in sleep.
I was coming home from delivering papers to get kids up for school and sleeping for an hour, then taking kids to school and driving to Flagstaff to work all day. I would come home and hardly have any time with my family before falling into bed exhausted
and trying to sleep a couple of hours before it all started again.
I knew I had to make some decisions about work when one day I mentioned to Rebekah that she would have to take care of Jadon until Rachel got out of work. Rebekah started to cry, which made me feel bad. Jadon can be such a handful at times and I know it stresses her to watch him. Also having Matthew home at the same time, I know it's not easy. On another day Matthew told me he wished I didn't have to be gone all day. The kicker though was one day getting up to leave for work and Jadon was still sleeping. When I came home that night, he was back in bed, sound asleep. I left the next day and he was sleeping. I came home that night and you guessed it...he was asleep. I didn't get to see him until the next day only because I didn't have to work. But I was the one who needed to sleep.
I love spending time with my kids and not being able to interact with them like I use to has been real hard for me. I knew it was going to be hard on everyone when I took the job with H&R Block, but I didn't think I'd have such a hard time.
So I made the decision to leave H&R Block. I enjoyed working for them, but I'm need here at home. I need to be with my husband and kids also. They are my driving force, what keeps me going. Also my house was becoming such a mess....lol I couldn't handle how unorganized and dirty my house was becoming. I never had time to spend with my family, clean my house, cook meals, have computer time, read, or anything...it was all about work and sleep.
I am still delivering newspapers, but that's during the wee hours of the day and I'm home for the kids. You may ask why I didn't give up the newspapers and stay with H&R Block. Well the job with H&R Block is only seasonal during tax season, where as delivering papers is ongoing.
I believe I made the best decision for myself and my family. The kids are much happier, I'm much happier. Not sure about Frank though because he doesn't like all the miles I put in the van delivering papers, but I figure if I only kept the job in Flagstaff I would be putting the same amount of mile on the van anyway. I'm sure he is or he will be happy with my decision once he sees how much happier we all are.
I can always take more classes with H&R Block in the fall and reapply with the company, but hopefully get hired closer to home.
So now I need to start organizing/cleaning my home, keeping my blog updated, and enjoy being with my family.
I truly believe I'm suppose to be home and this really feels like I'm starting over.

What am I thinking?!!!
I found out today that I start work on Tuesday. Yep, in 3 days!! I'm so excited, but so nervous at the same time. I'm questioning myself now even though I know everything will be fine.
How am I going to keep the house clean? What about my organizing the house? Who's going to take care of the kids? Okay, I know Frank will be home, but still....who is going to take care of the kids?!!! LOL
Monday evening we have an office meeting so I should find out my schedule then. This means I have 2 days to clean the house, update my poa, arrange carpool, buy groceries, finish laundry, organize my tax books and arrange my weekly schedule, and spend time with Frank and the kids. I'm exhausted just thinking about all of this.
Thankfully tax season is only through April so for the next 4 months I'll be relying/living on prayer.

Reflections
What a busy year we had. All I can say is I"m glad it's almost over. I started 2009 with lots of ideas about getting organized, being debt free, simplifying my life by years end, but I spent most of the year angry, hurt, not trusting people, feeling depressed and just not liking my attitude towards Frank and my kids.
2008 ended with my trust in Frank being tested/broken. I doubted his love for me and even though he told me repeatedly that he loved me I couldn't believe him, wouldn't believe him. He hurt me and I wanted to make him pay for that. In the end it just turned me into a very unhappy person. To be honest I hated who I was becoming. My marriage is everything to me and I couldn't handle having its strength tested. Of course this anger
and hurt carried throughout 2009. I tried over and over to be forgiving and trusting of Frank, but it took me almost all year to get to the point where I could feel that I could trust him again. I hate feeling this way. I know he loves me and he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.
In March Andrew told me that he and Sarah(his girlfriend)were planning on moving to Boston sometime during the year. He wanted to go to attend school at Northeastern University. What???... my baby wants to leave home....lol Actually, he moved out of the house at the end of 2008, but he was still living in town. This time he wants to move across the country. I was sad, but I knew I had to let him grow. So I'm thinking school starts late Aug/early Sept I'd have him home for another 5 months or so. In May he told me they bought plane tickets to Boston and were leaving July 4th. Ok, so one month earlier then I thought. It didn't really hit me until I told Frank they bought tickets and he asked how many days they would be in Boston. Uh, they aren't coming back. The tickets are one way.
I drove Andrew and Sarah to the airport in Phoenix about 11:00pm July 3rd. I didn't cry when I said goodbye to them. I knew Andrew woildn't want me to cry. Let me tell you it was a long drive home. I cried the whole way back. I'm so proud of Andrew and Sarah. They have good jobs, finally signed a lease for an apartment and seem to be very happy in Boston. I miss him so much, but I know this is a great time in his life. What a learning experience. Now his friend Alex told Rachel that they are planning on going to Europe. What???...across the country is one thing, but going to another country, another continent. Ok, I'm not going to worry about that yet.
2009 was a tough year for Rachel. She had her heart broken for the very first time in January. She didn't know how to deal with this, but kept her pain hidden until it all came to a head in late July. She got into some trouble and ended up at a behavioral center for almost a week. These were 2 of the longest, most heart-wrenching weeks for me as a mother. Now after being in counseling since August, Rachel is doing wonderful. I still worry about her, but as her mother I know I'll always worry.
Rachel will be 16 in Feb. and is anxious to drive. She started working at Denny's as a hostess and a coupole of months ago started waiting tables. She makes really good tips and is saving her money for a car. She is dating s guy named Travis, who seems to be really good for her.
Rebekah is still our future veterinarian. She is growing up and is a beautiful girl. She has such a love for school and soccer.
Matthew is Matthew....lol. He's very much into video games, pokemon, webkinz. He could do without school, except for his friends.
Jadon has grown so much during the year. He turned 2 in August and is all boy. He's into everything, loves being outside, loves being the center of attention....who wouldn't....lol....and loves his mommy. Of course he loves his daddy too, but you can tell I'm still the center of his world :D
I started delivering newspapers for the Arizona Republic in May. I took over Sarah's route since she was getting ready to move. This has been such an experience. Getting up at 1:30 am everyday if finally wearing on me. I started delivering papers to earn extra money, but also so I could stay home with the kids.
In September, I enrolled in a tax preparer class through H&R Block. I really enjoyed the class and applied for a job with H&R Block. I start work next week. Big change from wanting to stay home with my kids, but I believe this will be good for me. I'm nervous about going back to work. Sure delivering papers is work, but once I fold my papers I deliver them alone. Doing taxes, I'll be working with people all day.
The best part is I'm not doing childcare anymore.....WooHoo!! I was so ready to give that up. I did childcare for almost 10 years. Frank and the kids are very happy too. We finally have our home back. lol
Frank is still driving taxi and still thinking about doing something else. This December marked his 20th year driving taxi. He stressed alot lately about finances, but I keep praying for him. He's such a good man.
So even though there was a lot of sadness and hurts in 2009, we did manage to have a great year. If that makes any sense.
I'm praying 2010 is a much better year. Praying for our finances, good health and safety. All we can do is take 2010 one day at a time.
Happy New Year!!

Birthday Jottings
Today is my 42nd Birthday!! Wow!! LOL
The past year has been pretty rough for me. Lots of family drama going on. I'm so ready for a new start. My family keeps trying to drag me down, but I realize I need to do things for me. Things to better myself and make some changes in my life.
I do want to say I love my children......yes, even when they are pains in the butts....lol. I also love my husband, although I'm sure some would ask why. I even question why too. For all his faults, our arguments and hurts I know that he cares about and loves me, but sometimes I question this too.
The past couple of weeks I've been thinking about changes I would like to make about me or for me.
Goals for my 42nd year
Clear my debt
Start a savings account
Attend school
Stop doing daycare
Plan healthy meals
Menu plan each week
Get organized.....or at least more organized than I am right now.
Lose 42 lbs...I know this is a big goal, but I figure a pound a week with 10 weeks to spare. If I can't reach a 42 lb weight loss I would really be happy with at least 30 lbs.
After my birthday cake today, I'm ready to give up sugar and yes...I can say
it...sodas.
Exercise at least 30 minutes a day.
Big goals for me, but with baby steps I'm sure I can accomplish them.
Time to start my day. No daycare kids until this afternoon.
Today's list
Laundry
Kitchen
Update POA
Plan dinner
Rachel -- Dr appt 1:45
Rebekah -- Soccer practice 5:30
Enjoy my birthday :)

Little House on the Prairie
A couple of years ago I started watching Little House on the Prairie with my kids. We borrow the dvd's from the library so that's why it's taken such a long time to watch them. We are currently on season 8.
I love this show and the kids really seem to enjoy them also. Except for the shows that aren't centered around Laura. They are only interested in Laura...lol. Which this season started out dealing with other people instead of Laura.
My favorite episode of season 8 in 'Stone Soup'. Charles and Almanzo have a chance at raking in a nice paycheck by making a delivery trip to Arizona, but that would mean being on the road for two months. Almanzo reluctantly agrees to go along, despite his wife being five months pregnant, and with Walnut Grove experiencing a terrible drought, Laura must now juggle her responsibilities at home and as a teacher. With a large orchard to water each day, Laura stubbornly refuses help from her family, which could create grave consequences for herself and her unborn child. Meanwhile, Willie Oleson shows signs that he might finally be turning into a motivated student, and the school children draw upon the message of a special story to learn how to give back to their community during a difficult time.
I think I really like this episode because it finally shows a different side of Willie. When I was a little girl Willie was my favorite, well until Albert came along...LOL.
I'm so glad my kids are enjoying Little House on the Prairie.

First week of the year.
This is the end of the first full week of 2009 and already it's been a bust.
I haven't done a very good job at accomplishing any of my goal. Actually I am reading my bible daily and spending more time in prayer. Which is a big improvement from the past, but all other goals, I haven't even tried to do anything about.
I really need to get back to having a daily list of chores and tasks to do. having the list is the easy part, it's actually doing everything on the list that is the hard part. Mostly because I procrastinate or find excuses not to do things.
Frank and I have had a rocky start to the new year and that makes it hard to get things done. Mainly due to some depression on my part. There has been a lot of stress and tension in the past 5 or 6 months between us and we are finally trying to deal with it, but of course emotionally it's hurts which only adds to any depression I have.
I'm trying not to spend a lot of time on the computer when Frank is home, but to spend more time with him. Of course I'm not cleaning much while he is home. Just doing the basic stuff and not any extra cleaning.
Having my daycare kids isn't helping either. I have one that cries all day long when he is dropped off. He wants me hold him all day. Which I can't do obviously. I've talked to his parents and grandmother about this, but they say it's because he's sick and isn't feeling good. I told them no it's started the very first day they started bringing him to me. Then another little boy cries because he wants to eat all the time and I won't feed him all day long. He gets his snacks and lunch with all the other kids. I am grateful for my daycare kids being here so that I can be home for my own kids otherwise I would have to get a job, but I'm beginning to lose patience with some of the kids.
Another reason I think I'm not getting anything done is because my daily to do list or poa is very detailed and long. When I see it I feel overwhelmed. Starting Monday I'm going to work in one room (and only one room) a day. If I break my list down into daily areas instead of printing the whole thing out then maybe it won't seem so overwhelming at least until I get routines established. I can also add PDC and FBB stuff which usually doesn't take to long to complete. I haven't started PCCX and I don't know if I even will do anything towards it this round. I'll see how the week goes.
My life right now is just overwhelming. I need to spend time with Frank and our kids. Then there are the kids activities---soccer, basketball, youth group, scouts, as well as school. I have daycare kids daily. I need to take care of the house daily. Where is MY time. I have very little me time or I'm made to feel guilty if I do anything for myself. Everyone acts like the world will end if I leave the house for a few hours by myself.
I better stop now because I feel myself beginning to ramble. I'll never stop if I start that.
Oh yeah, Jadon is driving me crazy because he doesn't say mama or mommy. He calls me Net because he hears the daycare kids call me that. I keep telling him my name is mama and he just laughs. He is such a cutie, but I wish he would call me mama. He calls Frank dada and really means it, but I'm Net.

Happy New Year!!
Having a lazy start to the day today, but that's ok. Kids are still sleeping and the Rose Bowl parade is on tv right now.
I'm praying we have a great 2009. Planning on being better organized and keeping a clean and loving home for my family. Praying for Frank and myself. That our marriage remains strong. The past several months have been tough for us mainly due to finances, but with Christmas out of the way and finally getting caught up on bills I believe good days are ahead for us.
I'm really going to try to stay up to date with this blog. I always seem to forget to blog or not have time too, but this year I've made it one of my goals to remain current with this blog
Better get up and get started with my day.

Introducing......
...Our newest addition....... Jadon Levi Morgan
Jadon was born on Tuesday, August 28, 2007
weighing 6 lbs, 14 oz
and he was 18 inches long.
It had been a long, hot summer waiting for Jadon to arrive.
My due date was Sept. 14th, but I knew he would come early.
Dr Jochim didn't think so. He kept saying I would deliver in
Sept., but this being my 5th child, I knew I would deliver early.
All the kids are excited to have Jadon here finally. Especially Matthew.
All he wanted was a baby brother. So he is very excited. Now Matthew
is realizing that he is the middle brother and so far he likes being in the
middle. Although he was hoping Jadon would be ready to play with him
once he was born. I kept telling Matthew that Jadon was going to be too
small to play for a long time.
Jadon is settling in quite well at home. Now if he would get his days and
nights in order. He sleeps very well during the day, but wants to stay awake
at night. Well at least he sleeps during the day so I can nap with him.

Long time no write
It's been a long time since I last posted. To me it seems like I was a walking zombie all last year. After my miscarriage I just didn't feel like really doing anything. I still kept up with my yahoo groups, but kinda fizzled out at the end of the year. I did make it through Christmas for the kids. We had a good Christmas. Frank and I stressed about money. Him because he didn't know what to buy the kids, my because I didn't have any money. I really started thinking about getting a job. I just don't want to be away from my kids. I like being home and being here when they get home from school.
We bought a new van. Well new for us. A 2003 Honda Odyssey. I love it.
In October, we took a 10 day family vacation to see Ron and Wanda in Chico. Our first real family vacation. I'll write about the trip in another post it will take awhile to relive it... :)
Our computer crashed in January. We had to get a new motherboard. We still need a new video card and tv card. Also I'm thinking we need a new cd drive.
I'm happy, scared, excited, and worried to say that I am pregnant. My due date is Sept 14, 9 days after I would have been due last year. My first dr appt went well. My next appt is March 21, I'm praying everything is well. Praying for a healthy baby. Dr Jochim asked me what this baby is going to be and I said 'Healthy' that's all I want.
I'll be back later to post more.
